Bowman Vineyards invites you to experience our unforgettable muscadine wines from our family owned and operated vineyard since 2007.
Our Story
This highly fertile land was passed down in the late 2007 to the Bowman family and 14th generation of the Henderson family. Although the name reflects “Bowman Vineyards”, it all started with my hard working and dedicated grand parents, Adrain and Laller Henderson.
Bowman Vineyards cultivates and harvests several varieties of muscadines on our Oakman Branch Road farm land. Wine is produced and bottled on our Augusta Highway site.
The sandy soil and hot weather in this coastal region of South Carolina makes for the ideal environment to farm a wide variety of muscadines.
our family traditions
It’s in our roots. We cultivate the land and our children. Teaching them to appreciate the gifts of our land so that they will continue this journey.
From our abundant harvest, distinctive flavors are derived from the sweet muscadine grapes to produce robust white, red and blush wines.
